PLU Class:  Science Olympiad: Exploring the World of Science CANCELLED

Who: All Teachers and Para Pros

When: June 23rd 2010 (Wednesday)

Time: 9 am to 4 pm (one hour lunch)

Cost: $35.00

One PLU:10 credit hours; 6 classroom hours/4 hours seat work

Geared toward Third though 6th

(Class minimum enrollment will be 30 participants.  Refunds will be given if the class does not reach the minimum number.)

 What to expect: Science Olympiad based exploration. Teachers will be given information to encourage participation in the 10 year Bartow County Science Olympiad. All information can also be easily incorporated into classroom lessons.

One hour rotation with individual instructors covering: “Knock, Knock: Who’s There?, Deep Blue Sea, Crime Busters, Don’t Bug Me, Rock Hound and more.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATON: SEAT WORK

6 hour classroom time with an additional 4hour seat work                   

Submit 4 hours of seat work: to KimK@bartowtrc.org  within (90 days)/ September 23rd 2010

Please include date and amount of hours ; No partial credit will be given

 Send payment along with registration form to the TRC

Payment reserves space in class
